 BUETAAA organized a BUETians' gathering at the Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park, on July 27. In light of the unprecedented crisis in our home country, Bangladesh, where many have lost their lives, including numerous students, we shared our collective grief and showed solidarity with our fellow countrymen. We yearned to come together in person, to share our concerns, and to express our condemnation of the ongoing brutality in Bangladesh.

We thank everyone who attended with their families. Together, we paid respect to the lost souls with moments of silence, showing our solidarity with the student movement in Bangladesh. Our hearts are with the Bangladeshi students and their families, and we stand in unwavering support of them.
